People in the Lab
Principal Investigator
![]() | Dr Michelle Arnold I completed my MSc and PhD in cognitive psychology at the University of Victoria, Canada. After a short postdoc in Southampton, UK, I moved on to a fixed-term lectureship at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. In 2011 I took up my current position in the School of Psychology at Flinders University. Although my interests span a wide range of both basic and applied topics within cognition, my focus tends to be on metacognition and judgement & decision making. Feel free to email me with any questions about my research or opportunities in my lab. |
Research Assistants
![]() | Sarah Fletcher As an undergraduate I studied Behavioural Science with Education Studies as my second major. I developed an interest in forensic psychology during third year, and after being admitted to honours undertook a project investigating recognition memory. My PhD project is investigating possible reasons for the difference between positive and negative eyewitness identification decisions in terms of the relationship between confidence in the decision, latency of the decision, and accuracy. I am also interested in general memory, psychology of justice e.g., forgiveness and social psychology.

![]() | Marie Ogden I am in my first year of Psychology (Honours). The field of abnormal psychology originally pulled me towards psychology, but I am interested in many areas. I don't know where my studying will take me yet, I just find it all fascinating. |
| Katie Logos I am currently in my second year of studying Psychology (Honours) at Flinders. I really enjoy learning about the many different areas of psychology, and at this stage I have a particular interest in learning and memory. I am looking forward to discovering more within these areas and others as I continue my studies, and I am excited to find out where my degree will take me. |
